Site Under Construction

I'm trying to redesign my blog and get everything figured out. It's definitely a self-taught learning process. Please check back in the future and see the changes!

Last Chance Lists are here!

LAST CHANCE LISTS ARE HERE! (The last chance items are products that are retiring on June 30th and won't be available for purchase! Accessories are only "while supplies last" so they won't even last that long!) There are even some retiring accessories that are 25% off...or 50% off!!!!

If you would like to purchase any items or view the lists...just send me an email or give me a call! Or you can order 24/7 on my website. www.jennifersmith.stampinup.net

ALSO...Stampin' Up! is offering a GREAT DEAL to recruit now! They have a $99 Mini Starter Kit! Let me know if you would like any information on that! There are SO MANY reasons to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator! :)

It's been a crazy couple of months, so hopefully I can get a card posted for you later today! I have a cute one that I made for Father's Day...stay tuned!

New Color Renovation Chart

Okay, I found a .jpg image of the new color chart. I still need to find a .jpg image for the color chart that has all the retiring colors. I just got samples of the 5 new colors in the mail today and I love them! Now I need to play around with them and make some great card samples for you.

I'll be posting more spring cards that I've been working on real soon, so come back and check out what I've been working on! Plus, Thursday night is the StampinDaze Variety Night that I attend each month with other local demonstrators, so I'll have some more ideas and samples after that! It's a windy one here today...thought maybe I should put a sail on my car and blow on over to the grocery store! Hey, I'm on empty, so it would save on gas! :)

Have a great day and as always Happy Stampin'!

Playing Catch Up

Okay, since it's been so long since I've posted anything, I'm feeling like I need to make up for it by showing you several things today! :)

This next project is what I made for my daughter's kindergarten Valentines, but it would make a perfect little birthday treat as well.

I used the owl image from the Fox and Friends stamp set, a few punches, ink, ribbon, an inexpensive pencil, and a printable coloring page from the internet.

Super easy and the kids loved them!

That's it for now!

Okay, I know it's been a while!

Hey Stampers!

Are you ready to shake things up?

I sure hope so!

With the new catalog comes a fun new change.

We're going to say goodbye to some friends, welcome back old friends, and say hello to new friends!!!!

Are you ready?

They are changing up our 5 color families and making them 4 color collections. Yes, that means we'll see some of the colors leave, some old in-colors brought back (yippee!), and some fun new colors join in the mix.

So why am I telling you this so early? Well, first of all, because you are loyal customers and friends, but also so you can budget for and plan to get some of those colors that will be leaving us and get excited about new colors coming in.

I am excited that a lot of my favorite In-colors are back: Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede, Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, River Rock, Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze and Wild Wasabi will all be joining us again..woo hoo!

The new friends that will be joining us are: Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake (formerly Kraft), Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, and Marina Mist.

Now as for the ones that are leaving, I know some will be sad to see certain colors go (I am too), but this change will be good. So be sure to stock up on your favorites!

I know it’s a lot to take in, but bear with me just a couple more important things….

1. Every year SU! will introduce 5 new In-Colors, but they will stick around for two years. So 5 new colors will roll out July ’10, then another 5 July ’11. Then in July ’12 the first batch of 5 will retire and we’ll get 5 new ones!!!!
2. Craft inks will now only come in full size pads for Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White. All the colors will still be available in the spot size, but if you want full size pads, order them now!
3. A handful of core colors will change every 3 to 5 years to keep the color pallete updated and fresh.

Are you excited? I hope so, because I sure am! I love working with fresh, new colors!

I'm trying to figure out how to post pictures of the new color charts, but haven't been able to make it work yet. I would be happy to send them in an e-mail if you just let me know. THAT I know I can do! :) If you have any questions or need help placing that order to stock up, feel free to contact me.

Thoughts of You

I was asked by a friend at church to make a card for our choir director for everyone to sign. Our choir director's father just had heart surgery today. This is what I came up with and I am pleased with how it turned out. I used the Welcome Neighbor Designer Series Paper from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. The trees are not stamped, they are pre-printed designer paper. The only thing stamped was the sentiment which is from the Whimsical Words stamp set and is also found the Sale-A-Bration catalog. The striped strip of DSP is the back side of the tree paper (all of our Designer Series Paper is double sided). I added a Summer Sun Corduroy button...LOVE those! I decided it needed a little more texture, so I ran a piece of Crushed Curry cardstock through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder.

The colors in this card are:
~Old Olive
~Crushed Curry
~Bermuda Bay
~Kraft

I hope you enjoyed this card today. It brings thoughts of spring to mind! Have a wonderful Wednesday! Feel free to leave me a comment...I'd love to hear from you!

Caution: Excitement!

How funny! After stalking the UPS man the other day, my order finally arrived. I saw the side of the box and just had to snap a couple pictures! That describes exactly how I feel each time a new order gets here! With all the foggy, cloudy, snowy, dreary days we've had, my day got a bit brighter with that brown box and I just laughed when I read it! Have a terrific weekend and I hope to post a picture soon of a cute card I made yesterday using the Stampin' Up! Decor Stencils.
